We work with overrun shelters in Georgia that euthanize dogs weekly. So we do our part and take in dogs as much as possible. Most are healthy and happy but a few have heartworm or severe skin issues.

The more you support us the more we can take in and save from euthanasia.

A pile of pups rescued from a hoarder home in Georgia captured hearts on the North Fork this weekend; all were adopted.

The North Fork Animal Welfare League's shelter in Peconic will be filled to the rafters Saturday as a total of 36 rescue dogs arrive — and help, in the form of forever homes, fosters, and financial assistance, is desperately needed, staffers said.
