In 2019 the North Fork Animal Welfare League directly improved the lives of more than 2000 animals. Close to 450 were adopted into loving, permanent homes. More than 500 were sterilized, preventing thousands of animals from being born into a world where there are just not enough homes. Hundreds of cats and dogs are fed daily through our FFAT CAT
(Feral Feeding Assistance Team) program and our Free Pet Food Pantry. Our Safe Keep program provided sanctuary for more than 50 companion animals whose caretakers were temporarily unable to provide for them. 302 lost four-legged family members were found and returned to their grateful owners. This was all possible because of you.
