We need your support on this Giving Tuesday!
I am writing to thank everyone who has fostered, adopted, shared, and donated to The League in the past.
Today is the biggest day of the year for nonprofit organizations like The League. Last year, individuals like yourself gave nearly $2.5 billion to the causes they care about in the 24 hours of Giving Tuesday. That's millions of people giving what they can — $10, $20 — because they know that every little bit counts. This year, I ask that you consider donating to North Fork Animal Welfare League.
Since Covid began sheltering has changed; we have learned new ways to help, rescue, and find homes for animals in need. We continue to help all animals that need us locally, and we have expanded our reach to shelters that euthanize animals solely for kennel space.
We are so lucky to have this great community that does not have that problem, and we are lucky to have the space to save these animals at those shelters.
So now we need your help! Our shelter is full, Again!
To help more dogs and cats, we need you to donate.
