Kennel Attendant

Previous experience caring for animals will be advantageous.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds unaided.

  • Available to work during evenings, and on weekends and public holidays, if required.

 

We are searching for an attentive, doting kennel attendant to oversee the well-being of the animals in our care.

The kennel attendant will be responsible to provide compassionate and attentive care of the animals at all times, maintaining a clean healthy environment for the animals and the public, and assisting with other duties as needed. Assisting the shelter manager or lead kennel attendant with additional tasks as needed.

Experienced attendants also may provide basic healthcare, bathe animals, and attend to other basic grooming needs.
